If the environment is a concern for you, this is the paper towel to use, it's not Bounty, but it works. I like the U-size it feature, it allows smaller pieces when needed, although unfortunately the last shipment was not U-size, whish it was. These are the worst paper towels I have used and I am a 64 year old cook. They won't tear from the roll evenly no matter how careful you are. They disintegrate with any amount of liquid; turning into a mushy ball. I don't know who thought this was a usable product because it is not. My husband and I both have been counting the days till we used the last of this case and most definitely would never purchase again. I am disappointed in Marcal. I have purchased their products many times over the years and have always been satisfied till now. These are not well perforated. If you want one piece, torn along the perforated line, you have to be super careful, super slow, and have both hands working on it. Even though these are recycled, feels like we're being wasteful because we can hardly ever get just one piece, or a whole piece sizable enough to do the job. Can't wait to be done with these so we can get something better. This paper towel works well and is a good value. The only real drawback is the serration for tearing the towels is not perforated enough to tear a towel off without ripping the towel. For recycled paper towels, they are a little better quality than competing bands. The price is a lot better with subscribe and save. Each roll is individually wrapped. The plastic wrappers are recyclable where are you return your plastic grocery bags in the recycle bin at many grocery stores.I only rated this a 3 star not because the towels are bad but because they are individually wrapped in plastic. I love getting recycled products but it defeats the purpose if they are all wrapped in plastic. To the company that makes these, please consider non plastic wrap so that it's actually environmentally friendly.I bought these in a panic when I couldnt find Kirkland Brand (or any in my local stores) towels at start of Covid 19. I think I paid close to $40 for these and I kicked myself every time we used them as they are just not absorbant or sturdy. The only plus was they shipped quick and I didn't have to fight crowds to get them.I am not one to review items from Amazon. But these were such a disappointment I just needed to do it.We try to reduce our use of paper products and to be environmentally aware. We try to use towels etc. for a lot of cleaning. Yet due to the fact we have 2 very senior dogs, we do need some disposable paper towels. We bought these because they come from recycled paper. They are hands down the worst paper towels I have ever used, including other ones that are made from recycled materials. The paper is super thin and it sticks together and rips poorly. We ended up using more paper per clean up event because they are so poor. The rolls are small and flimsy. They are not absorbent, more similar to a piece of printer paper. They were more than on would pay and given their poor performance, I would recommend not buying these.
