I bought this to dispense towels in my home shop. This is not a commercial or industrial quality dispenser and I guess that is reflected in the price. The sheet metal is fairly flimsy and it flexes and rattles quite easily. The fit and finish are to a mediocre standard. I selected it because of its simple and unadorned appearance with the hope I was getting something that put function over form. But it really doesn't function very well either.The refill indicating widows are located high on the sides and as a result they only indicate when it is full and not when it is low. A minor thing, but evidence of how little thought was put in to this design. Because it hinges at the bottom it will only stay closed when it is locked. I don't personally have any use for the lock so the requirement to have a key to open and close it is a liability (key could be lost). One would think you could simply leave the key in it. But the lock mechanism itself is very easily turned and requires only a 5 degree turn to unlock. As a result, if you leave the key in the lock it may slowly begin to turn itself simply through the small knocks and vibrations from use. When it unlocks itself the door falls open quite startlingly.
