I’ve tried versions of this type of product over decades. The gel-filled bandanas were the first - from the 80s.The ones I bought before this had to be softened with warm water (ugh!) and dried stiff as a board.Technically they cooled you off from holding them in hot water and turning them over and over.These are terrific. With bobbi pins, small binder clips and safety pins, I can wear them in 500 different ways.Without those, I can wear 200 ways.If one part of the towel gets hot, just rearrange it to a cooler part!I leave these in the car in a ziploc bag. I always can get water, so I get a cool towel immediately.Do NOT leave them submitted in water in a sealed ziploc bag sitting in the hot car. They will stink to high heaven when you pull it out to use.Keep it dry until you need it.Carry extra water (or at least a container for tap water) to resoak every few hours (depending on environment).They’ve been through the washer fine. I do hang them to dry, just in case.I like to have at least 3 per person - a dry one in the car, a dry one in the house, and usually one just out of the wash.The only thing I’ve used that was better was literally strapping frozen ice packs into multiple net bandoliers and draping them over my back & chest.It looked weird and was uncomfortable (still more comfortable that dying of heat).But these. Buy them for your friends. Maybe for your pets.I can only think of a few other products that give so much value for money.And you can check my other reviews and see I’m not an easy reviewer.My son celebrated his birthday in Arkansas last July and it was HOT! These cooling towels made perfect party favors for both the kids and adults. Everyone knew which towel was theirs because they were all different colors, and the carrying cases were a nice addition.Worked well for us at Disney. We just put water on them and put in our food bag in gallon bags. Pulled them out and put them on. Seemed to help us for a while.These cooling towels are great when it's hot out! Take it to the worksite, or on a hike... They come with a plastic pouch and carabineer to carry the towel til you need it!! When you are done using it, the plastic pouch is great to keep the damp towel away from your other belongings until you can dry it out!!!Generous sizing, great quality fabric. Love the storage bags with carabiners. Gave them to a full crew of auto mechanics that work in open bays in the southern Calif heat. Only wish each pouch was printed with the instructions of “Soak, Snap and wear” I had to explain to people who’ve never used one before and show the picture from the item description of all the ways they could wear them. They have been a big hit.Five of us wandering around Disneyland in 100 degree heat, and these definitely helped keep it bearable. Although they say they don't work as well in high humidity, they still did help in 47% humidity. And very convenient with the plastic carry bags.I bought these to use as “end of year teacher gifts”. We had a few left over and took them on vacation. Everyone loved them. Some had never seen anything like them before. Beim Waschen kam minmal etwas Farbe raus, daher erst solo waschen.Die Kühlung ist gut und die Länge reicht auch locker aus, um sie sich auch um die Stirn zu wicxkeln. Gut und praktischfinde ich auch die mitgelieferten, durchsichtigen Aufbewahrungsaschen, in denen sie sich gut in den Kühlschrank legen lassen. Und im Rucksack gibts damit keinen "Feuchtigkeitsschaden".Für den Preis ein guter Kauf, finde ich. geliefert wurde auch schnell.worth paying the extra cash for, you get what you pay for (usually)Great colour selection and storage bag for each.
