Haven’t installed yet but from what arrived it seems flimsy. The thin mounting bracket hugs the wall between itself and the TP holder with a small lip on the top and bottom. Doesn’t seem very secure but we’ll see what happens.Small bathroom and we didn't want the TP holder to stick out and take up space. Cut out the square opening in cabinet and it fit right in. Out of the way.Would recommend for anyone with a small bathroom.The photo of the product shows a brilliant white item. What I got was something darker than ivory but lighter than cream.If you want a brilliant white one? without spray painting it that color yourself as I am about to do? Then keep looking to find what you want!! Because this isn't white.THERE IS SOME GOOD NEWS, THOUGH!! THE EXTRA LARGE ROLLS OF EXTRA THICK TOILET PAPER DO ACTUALLY FIT INTO THIS RECESSED HOLDER WITH ROOM TO SPARE!Saves a lot of space for my small bathroom. It doesn’t stick out as much as the other toilet paper I had before.Let me first say that you need to be comfortable creating about a 4"x4" hole in the wall. Keeping it square is important but my house is old and nothing in my house hasn't shifted lol. Just saying that so you eyeball the hole as well. You get a bit of adjustment before you tighten but if the hole is off so will the holder. Its made of really solid plastic and the robust spring in the paper holder tube is a pleasant surprise.I bought this particular paper holder to replace one that doesn't fit the Costco/Kirkland brands. This one fits them nicely. Brand new roll barely drags in holder. Rolls nice enough not to struggle rolling it in the holder. I know someone else mentioned it doesn't, but for me, it honestly does. Maybe manufacturing tolerances both on Kirkland's end and Moen's end might cause a roll not to fit, but I haven't had that issue yet. "Fit" also may be highly subjective to each individual, but if I can roll the TP without too much effort, I consider that a success. Some may think if it drags even a little, "it doesn't fit", but my review isn't based on that tight of a viewpoint.Directions say the hole should be 5.25" x 5.25", but I had a 5" x 5" hole and it still fit perfectly from the old hole my old holder created. The paper roll holder itself is not metal; it's plastic, but matches the structure of the overall holder (until it gets lots of use I'm sure). Comes with its own mounting plate that the holder mounts to in the wall. Put in within 10 minutes and fits on a wall just fine. If you're mounting on some other object other than a wall, be sure you have 2" of depth for the holder to fit in. Overall, a good quality product.Very easy to installIt does what it's supposed to doI just got mine today and it looks fine. It is more of an ivory color than white but it will work for me. People need to realize that Donner is a brand line that Moen sells, so yes it is a Moen product. I can maybe understand that there could be a problem with the screws going in because the backing plate is fairly thick so I think that I might just drill a couple of guide holes with a drill so I won't have a problem with the screws.The price was much better than buying local. It came when they said it would and it's exactly as described. Installation was easy and the instructions were clear concise and accurate. Sadly there's not alot to say about a toilet paper holder other than it's white which is nice because I looked all over town for a white one and couldn't find one.Looks ok. But the screws that come with the product is very weak. Especially it has to go through the mounting bracket behind the toilet paper holder. Mine were stripped when the metal from the mounting bracket caught the threads of the screws. So I ended up have to use other screws to properly install it.Item received we was from a different brand than advertised. It is not a Moen product but a "Donner Bath Furnishings" product. Misleading advertising, going to be returning it!Without trying the product it gets 4 stars for false advertising - this is NOT a Moen product. Box shows Donner.It looks like the picture so I am hopeful it works as expected and as others have reviewed.
