This is a cast iron kitty with its tail going straight up to hold 3 rolls of toilet tissue. It is a very unique and cute addition to my bathroom. My one complaint is that the casting process was not extremely precise, leaving a 1" open slot on the back. I will repair that and paint it over, but it's a shame that the casting was that imprecise. Still, I like my little TP kitty very much. The picture in the item description doesn't do "yoga cat" justice. In person, it's much more cat like and less angular in overall appearance. Although, I must admit, I was initially surprised how small it actually is. I expected it to be somewhat larger. Guess I am a bad judge of measurements. That said, it's actually the perfect size to hold 3 toilet paper rolls while being small, compact, and unobtrusive enough to neatly tuck into a corner or up against a wall. The ugly, dark color was the only thing I didn't like about "yoga cat" so I used metallic gold Rustoleum paint to brighten it up. This is why I rated it 4 instead of 5 stars. Too bad the holder isn't offered in a choice of finishes to start with. But now I have a really cute, attractive way to keep toilet paper rolls readily available.Cast iron and sturdy but still decorative. These have a decent weight to them without being unwieldy. I needed something to hold paper towels and be strong enough to stand up to three active kittens trying to play with the paper. While still being decorative enough to sit out on my kitchen counters. This fits the bill nicely. If I could change anything at all about it, I would have to say to add a way to keep the towels from unwinding on the holder. That is my only complaint about it. My three kittens have not been able to push it off the counter. They cannot push the towels up off the holders tail to get them to the floor that way. So if the company could find a way to keep the towels from unwinding on the roll. Maybe a weighted fish or mouse dangling from the tail?? Something that would fit with the cats appearance and materials it is made of but be heavy enough to hold the paper towels in place?? That would make this an even better product. If they decide to take my suggestion and make it, I would love to test it out for them..:)I got a cat just like this one a year or so ago to prop open my back door (it's windy in the desert!). I liked it so well, I decided I wanted another for my front door -- but the one I previously got was no longer available. I searched only to find a lot of the ones out now have foldable tails, which wouldn't work for picking up the cat to move frequently. Finally found this one and it's perfect. Heavy, sturdy, and just the right height to grab the tail for positioning by or away from the door. A bit pricey but worth it for my purpose.Useful tool for a kitchen or bath for holding paper towels at the ready. Also will work to hold a stack of toilet tissue rolls. When used for paper towel roll, the towels tend to telescope off the cardboard tube. What is needed is some type of base. I trimmed a dry sponge, poked a hole in the center and slipped it over the tail before adding the roll of towels. That prevented the telescoping, and the sponge is not visible until the roll is almost depleted. A round plastic canvas piece also works and is not at all noticeable, requires no trimming )just poke a larger hole in the center.) I used the sponge because I had a new one handy. .This is the cutest addition to my kitchen counter. Heavy and holds the paper roll well. Paper towels can come unrolled off the roll hiding the cat. Not a problem but mentionableI am using the yoga cat as a paper towel holder. It is very heavy & sturdy. When I pull a paper towel off, it doesn't topple over. It's perfect with my cat decor. I love it!Perfect for the bathroom, this cat eternally stretches with its tail high in the air, simply begging for three rolls of fluffy toilet paper to be coiled around its extremity. My wife, whose imagination can take frightful turns, says that this poking piece of metal is potentially dangerous, as one could fall on it if one trips, so for those who are not faint of heart, this metallic feline also serves as a weapon to be used in the odd event that a gun or knife is not available; simply grab the cat by the head and thrust its rear at your opponent, then call your lawyer because the antagonist will be seriously injured. So, you can rest easy in the john knowing that this cat's got your back-- and your backside clean
