Easy to put together. Looks really nice. But not as heavy as I thought it would be to dispense the paper towels.While this item is very cute which is why I purchased it, it is somewhat lightweight. It is necessary to hold onto it to tear off paper towels. But, it is certainly cute!A little light weight so you have to hold it to get the paper towel off but really adorable for a dog lover like me.The face came scratched but I would have returned anyway because the bottom is not weighted enough to allow you to pull off a paper towel without the whole thing moving.I love this paper towel holder. It's simple, modern, high-quality, sturdy and the metal cat is so cute!I tend to be pretty utilitarian when it comes to functional items like paper towel holders. But I also can't resist cat-abilia, and when something comes along that combines functionality with a feline theme, I can't resist.I ordered this in orange, to honor my buff tabby (one of four cats I have--I'd have ordered black or tortie if they'd had it, to honor the others. It's metal and seems well made--the base is stable and the rod that holds the roll of towels comes together easily. I don't necessarily have the counter space for this at the moment, but I'll put it into service as soon as I clear off some of the extraneous stuff in my kitchen.This would make a great, relatively inexpensive gift for a cat lover, especially as a housewarming gift or something similar.This paper towel holder is even more adorable in person than I expected it to be and I can't stop staring at it. It's whimsical, adorable, and I have already basically told everyone I know that they need one of their own. You need one too!Such a cute towel holder! Works just as it is intended, no issues with quality at all.Looks so adorable, my daughter loves it. It looks just like the picture, I got the white cat, we really love it around here. So much cuter than your normal paper towel holder.
