I'm not an environmentalist, I really consider myself to be a conservative conservationalist, but I really like the idea of using recycled paper towels. My messes don't require that a tree die so that they can be cleaned up. These paper towels work well, and are sized so that you can use one for small clean ups or tear off two and fold them over for larger uses. My only complaints would be that I prefer they were natural and not white, but that may be from the original source material that they are recycling may already be white so they may not have a choice, and when I tear off a sheet the bottom doesn't tear cleanly, and I always get a long tail stuck to the next sheet, which drives me crazy. But, it's all worth it if I don't have to kill a tree to clean up my messes. As far as quality recycled paper towels go, these are excellent. The price is good, they give you the option of using a bigger or smaller piece so as not to use as much product, and they tear much cleaner than 7th Generation. My issue is that while they ARE 100% recycled (which is awesome), they arrive in a huge shipping box, within which is a huge cardboard "dispenser" box, and within that, each individual roll is wrapped in plastic! Now, while the concept of dispensing one roll at a time is nice from a storage point of view, all the cardboard and plastic used to transport and pack seems to negate the "small steps" you're taking by using recycled paper, right?! Word to the wise: this is NOT two of the six-packs that are shown in the pic. It's 12 individually wrapped rolls in a large cardboard box.Marcal products seem to be a bit of a mystery. They offer a lot of part number and packaging types. I usually get the item packaged as decribed, and sometimes I get something different. Dunno why. In this particular case... it's not ideal to have the regular box I'd stock a store with, vs. the rollout box I'd stock a pantry with.Marcal makes these 100 percent recycled paper products. We've been using their consumables for years and recently switched to Amazon as our supplier.Whatever limitations may apply in quality -- and that is a minor nuisance -- it's offset by the recycled product feature. This matters most.We use a lot of this product cleaning up after a barf-ready cat that is otherwise lovable, and gathering up basement crickets that we haven't figured out how to put in recipes.Nice to have paper towels that is 100% recycled so I don't feel guilty using it. I like the small size sheets so I can choose how much to use. Look, this is not bounty so don't expect all that absorbency, but then if you need it, use a sponge! It tears ok. Good price.Used for general household purposes. I remembered Marcal from my childhood when it was my mother's preference, but itis not like it used to be! The towels to me, feel papery and stiff, They absorb but then the towels turn a gross gray brown color with just water absorption! They really look gross and fall apart when wet. Not ever again!I'm green in lifestyle and this product helps me live my ethics out and still use indoor plumbing. The price point is really good comparable to less environmental maInstream brands. My only complaint is they could be tad softer. But they do the job nicely and aren't rough on my sensitive areas. They also have a friendly little pattern which is a nice touch. Long story short i recommend.Great product! Very strong and absorbent. They've worked out very well for our office and the roll-out dispenser has been a really nice bonus in terms of keeping our supply room tidy. I was very happy we were able to find a quality, recycled option and the U-Size-It sheets make it easy to take just enough to get the job done. We'll definitely be sticking with these from now on.As far as recycled paper towel goes this is great. I was satisfied and will order again.
