Moen DN4408BN Vale Double Post Pivoting Toilet Paper Holder in Brushed Nickel - Modern Bathroom Tissue Roll Dispenser for Home & Commercial Use

I bought this after my kids had ripped two toilet paper holders out of the wall prior. This item had the best drywall anchors I’ve used so far and it’s really firmly in the wall. It was super easy to install and looks great. I love how easy it is to refill the toilet paper and it looks great next to my other moen fixtures in the bathroomAccurate template helped make locating where to drill was easy. I located mine on a wall with a pocket door. I had to make two plates and use different hardware for mounting. Pocket doors don’t allow for much clearance, so anything resembling a moly was a non starter. Wife wanted it centered, so I moved it. Need to sand the filler and touch up with paint.You replace the top by lifting the middle arm. This items also looks well in the bathroom.The holder itself is awesome! The anchors that came with it are the worst things I’ve ever seen. The only thing that might be harder to use than them are the set screws underneath. Almost impossible to get the little tiny Allen wrench into those screws from that angle.Super easy to instal and use.I love the design of this toilet paper holder. I love how it angles up and you put the toilet paper roll on and then you push it right back down. No roller stick to loseServes its purpose. Easy to installBetter then the previous one we bought that was only a semi circle. The toilet paper kept falling off when you tried to rip it off. This is at least sturdier than that one. It was easy to install and it's easy to change the roll. I do not care for how shiny it is. Would have liked a brushed nickel option.For the price, it is a nice holder. Installation was simple enough. I bought it for a second bathroom we have in the basement. It looked similar to a more expensive Moen unit I had installed in out main bathroom not long ago. However this was less than 1/3 of the price of what I paid locally for my other one. I figured it was a deal.Well, even though it works, and looks nice, there is a reason for the price difference. The reason is the more expensive ones are made of metal solid components. This one is all plastic. Don't get me wrong, it is nice looking and does the job, but it is not as solid.We bought a similar Moen paper roll holder that was twice the price. That one is solid metal and pivots perfectly into place. This one is cheap plastic and doesn't seat well into the cradle. I guess I'd put up with it if it was a few bucks but at $26 it's over priced.Just installed it and we absolutely love it! Great shine finish and lovely style. Very easy to use and replace the toilet paper when the roll is finished.The instructions I found confusing to follow (as I don’t DIY things often or use many tools), however after watching a quick YouTube video on it, it was actually very easy to install!!Added this matching the rest of new bath fixtures. Has to be THE easiest toilet tissue holder! The rod simply lifts up permitting quick change. Installation is a snap.This looked good in the photo, but is far too wide and looks more like the door handle for a medieval castle. Also did not receive the same version as one shown in photo. Returning.
