We purchased this dispenser to match our Delta Cassidy champagne bronze fixtures, which it does perfectly. I’m not a fan of the open-ended design, as the roll easily comes off when you may not want it to. I would have much preferred a more traditional design that matched our faucets, but we were limited to this one if we wanted an exact match. It gets the job done; just takes some getting used to.Not the highest quality, but it does hold toilet paper. Easy to install; easy to load.I install this in my children’s bathroom because no matter how many times we taught them it seemed as if nobody would ever take the old style toilet paper rolls off of the holder they would just place the new roll on top of the old empty one lol.Now they can just slide it off and slide a new one on.Everyone’s happy :-)I am so glad I went with the Delta Cassidy fixtures and this TP holder is my favorite. No more excuses for the family members not to load it, LOLIt can only be installed on the right, if you put it on the left the set screw will be on top.I read several folks saying the roll comes off while using so I tested several placements and since I wanted to go into a stud I placed it approx 4" from the front of the toilet & 26" from floor (std placement). fyi My 4" isn't a problem as I have ample room between toilet and wall.The roll is not coming off of the post nor does it feel awkward. I "tested" the std placement of 10" in front of toilet and I don't think that would cause a problem (for adults) either. Just my 0.02.It has a classic style but the single post is more modern which I like. I put it straight to stud so its rock solid but would have been fine with the Molly's which I used for other matching hardware. I just replaced junk so this is amazing by comparison I have to keep going in the bath just to look at all of it. Very happy with my purchase and planning on doing the spare bath now.I've bought 3 of these now, one for each bathroom - they are easy to install, look good, and make changing the toilet paper roll easy. I've used 'super mega' rolls on this, though it's a bit of a tight fit, rubbing on the cabinet for the first few uses. 'mega' rolls fit fine.I had one like this that broke--don't remember the brand. This chrome is ever so slightly different from my other accessories but almost the same and compatible styling. Really love the design! Holds a lot of TP and the roll stays put. I used the former bracket just fine. No need to drill more holes in the wainscot or wall. Pleased.I bought this in hopes to match my Delta gold sink, I made sure to purchase the same brand and same color, but the gold is much softer than the sink.
