I did not like the finish. Returned the first one I bought and got a different one and did not like this either. However, it looked fine and easy to install. Just not "the one".The black toilet paper recessed into cabinet holder looks great except for it should have had black screws!!! Instead they are bright silver so when the roll gets about halfway down you can see the silver screws and they really show up against the black. I will end up just dabbing a little black paint on them but this should be a no brainer when they give you the screws in the package. Easy enough fix though. This is why I gave it 4 stars rather than 5.Got this to replace old one that was old and corroded. It was for a rental house. It fit in the same hole with some minor treating. Once installed looks nice. And yes I put the fat double roll of toilet tissue and it works just fine!I was preparing to use it for jumbo rolls. When I took it out of the package there was an obvious problem. The arms that hold the spindle were bent outward. Upon closer examination it was a combination of the spring in the spindle was too strong and the recessed assembly was a light gauge of metal that distorts easily. The remedy was simple, manually straighten out the arms, and use a different spindle with a weaker spring. This dispenser is a great improvement for jumbo rolls, however an additional modification can be very useful. As such. A piece of 1" pvc white water pipe cut at 4 and 1/4" pass thru the cardboard tube of the toilet paper. The pvc will be a loose fit at this time. Wrap each end of the pvc with Gorilla tape so that it fits snugly into the cardboard tube. The spring loaded spindle will pass thru the pvc. A little more gorilla tape around the ends of the spindle will balance it out. Do not make it a tight fit. The pvc will spin on the spindle! Now your TP will roll effortlessly without dragging. This trick works for most recessed paper holders. You will have to adjust the amount of tape windings on the pvc depending on the brand of TP you buy The diameter of the cardboard tube varies. I guess I walked into that one.This is very simple to install and have your toilet paper up. It's very durable and doesn't bend or break and allows you to make sure you have a big enough area. It's very sturdy once installed and it doesn't bend or chip even with kids and dogs in the house. It holds my toilet paper roll with ease and keeps it in a specific place cause my kids love moving itIt is made a little cheap but it’s been installed for a few months now and is holding upExcellent product, fulfilled its intended purpose.Installed in wood vanity, which proved a bit challenging. Drilling a 3/8 to 1/2 inch hole at corners to open for saw blade a must, especially in close quarters. A small, sturdy, extremely sharp saw blade will help achieve best results. Painstaking, yes, but installation made use remarkably easier.The only negative comment I could possibly have is the center roller is a little stiff to put back in as you replace the TP, but I'm sure that it automatically loosens up over time.The item was purchased for small bathroom renovation to match new hardware. The new chrome holder replaces an old functional one with deteriorating brass finish. The Amazon advertisement is very good because it is clear and provides exact dimensions of the hardware. Item purchased because dimensions given and is perfect match for existing hole in drywall. Amazon also did very good job providing tracking information.The plate to anchor the holder to the drywall didn't work so 5 out of 5 stars not given. There is a 2x4 stud beside the hole behind the drywall running vertically. So the anchor bar provided didn't work. I ended up using the anchor bar from the old fixture. It took longer to install than planned. So far have had no troubles using the new chrome holder.The clamp is a good idea and I like it. I guess you might know to avoid the stud by using a stud finder. However, you should also keep enough space between the hole you cut in the dry wall and the stud if you need to use the clamp. Otherwise you might made the same mistake as I did. I had to knock the clamp inside the space between the stud and the drywall, which damaged the latter. So please avoid the stud far enough when install it.Other than that the product looks good and feels very solid after installation. The tissue roll is a little bit too tight to use but I am okay with it.Solidly processed, visually meets all requirements. Instead of the somewhat complicated attachment, I simply screwed the paper holder into a piece of wood on the back using the screws provided. I would have liked the paper rolls to reach deeper into the hollow. About two thirds of them are in front of the wall.The paint was scratched in a few spots, the metal was not smooth in others, and they gave screws that were stainless instead of black to match the product.It luckily all gets hidden by the toilet paper when the roll is attached, but you definitely get what you pay for with this productThe product is made of a little bit thin metal (hence a 4 stars) but it's sturdy. The size can accommodate easily large rolls (450 2-ply sheets) Come with hardware to install in the wall. Good product at good price.
