Crone is pealing off within two weeks. Not a quality product just a nameEasy to install and looks great.This is OK for a cheap paper holder. It is thin gauge but sturdy enough for the job.The manufacturer made several bad choices for installation. First, the spring inside the roll tube is super-strong, and the supplied installation template puts the brackets too close together on the wall. As a result, there is excessive torque (force) on the brackets, especially when you remove the tube to replace the TP roll. This means the brackets loosen quickly, and I expect the screw anchors to pull through the wallboard eventually. This is totally unnecessary, caused by poor design and poor installation instructions.Another poor choice was the use of slotted setscrews, rather than Allen (hex) setscrews. They are harder to tighten, and you will need to find a small screwdriver, which many will not have on hand. It would have been better to use hex setscrews and include an Allen wrench. I can't imagine they cost more than 50 cents in bulk -- probably less.In summary, this is an acceptable product -- nothing special -- and rather poorly thought out. I expected better from the Moen name.Beautiful finish and matches the rest of our Moen products we chose for our bathroom. However the holder does not come out far enough from the wall. We buy toilet paper in bulk from Costco but the are large and do not spin on the holder until it is nearly partially used. Love the towel bars and matching lights. High quality. The toilet paper holder needs an update to accomodate larger TP.Fantastic item for the price. Installation was a breeze too. The metal arms/posts that hold the toilet paper roller were a little loose where they were attached at the base to the exterior facing cover wall plates but I easily tightened the screw on each (not the tiny screw which tightens the faceplate to the bracket) to snug them up before seating on the wall brackets. Looks great on the wall and would purchase again!Love this thing! It replaced a TP holder that would NOT easily accommodate the large size rolls that are bought at our Costco club warehouse. This holder will easily handle them, and I just about paid for this one by the savings on my last purchase of the bigger rolls of bath tissue! Very sturdy and well made.......it will last for years. :)It is a shiny chrome. Looks nice and is sturdy. It comes with easy to install instructions; a piece of paper you tape to the wall and drill where you see the dots, remove paper and install.The center completely detaches so that you can put on a new roll. It is not hard to put the center rod back between the holders on either side.Very nice toilet paper holder. It was extremely easy to install and feels very sturdy. I especially like that the rod doesn’t fall apart when you take it out to change the roll. The chrome plating is nice and shiny and hasn’t tarnished or dulled in the months that we’ve used it. The price ($12.99 at time of purchase) is a great deal on a genuine Moen fixture. Very pleased with this purchase.Spring rather tight.
