GREAT PRODUCT !!!!!The rice paper holder is much more convenient than using a large shallow bowl, and it holds water on both sides with wrappers in the middle. I would take care to order the 10” holder with the 10” rice paper. We made the mistake of getting the 9” holder which doesn’t work as well. It doesn’t hold a lot of water so you may need to refill with hot water after about 4 wrappers on each side.I love this container that holds both rice paper wrappers and water and looks lovely on the table. I was introduced to these while on a recent holiday in Hoi An, Vietnam and was delighted to find one in the US. This container keeps the dry rice paper wrappers in the center section (dry) and allows you to give them a quick dip in the water reservoir before wrapping whatever it is you want to wrap (like Vietnamese crispy pancake, Vietnamese barbecued pork with lettuce and herbs, Even the filling for chicken lettuce wraps). I had never before realized that a slightly damp rice paper continues to soften once you wrap it around a moist filling so a quick dip in water is all you need and leaves the rice paper easy to handle (just supple enough without being sticky). Love it, love it, love it!If you use medium wraps the middle remains dry, using running water or pie pan is easier.Well first, for being plastic, they certainly are expensive. That is not a big deal in the long run because they do seem quite sturdy and hard to break. If they last a long time then they won’t seem so expensive.Price aside, I just don’t like the way they function. We ruined two batches of rice paper because the water from the dip reservoir spills into the rice paper holder and makes a gooey mess. Thinking I just filled it too high I lowered the water level on the next batch but now the water level is too low to soak the whole paper. So I have to “paint” the paper with water from my fingers to soften it.Just not a good design. Combined with the cost, I can’t recommend it. Sorry, I wanted to like it as much as the ones we use at our favorite restaurant but we don’t.I wanted to have this product and found it with reasonable price. used, but like new. there is three compartments by two plastic, then are bending already that I can see totally uses. But when you use hot water, eventually bend even though buying new. so I am happy with this product.This is a great tool for the occasional rice wrapper user. I love to make Vietnamese Summer Rolls in hotter weather and Spring Rolls in the cooler weather. I am gluten free so I have to use the rice wrappers. This really helps with the moistening of the rice wrappers. I found it helps to lessen the watery mess as well.It’s ok for medium size rice paper. I wish it was a tad taller so the middle of the paper could get wet. After spinning the paper all the way around in the water when its filled to the top, there is a tiny area in the center of the paper that doesn’t get any water, annoying because you have to use your fingers to spread water to it, which just adds an unnecessary step. Just like a few of the other reviews, I thought the price was high, so I only purchased 1 instead of 3 as I would have preferred for an item such as this.Did not work well, would rather just use a bowlI purchased this set as a gift. Very well made, good quality. The only thing that I am not happy about is the price. In November 2019, I paid $23.99 for the set. I wanted to get another set for myself in December 2020 but the price went up to $86.49. This is a huge price difference and not worth it. It is too bad.Very dissapointed with the purchase. Only recieved the holder only. What is the use of the item if it does not come qith thw plastic wrapper. I want to return the utwm immediately as the item sent does not match the picture and the description.Sehr gutThe water compartment doesn’t hold much water.
